ABOUT ME

I'm a registered social worker (RSW) in Alberta with a Master of Social Work (MSW), specializing in supporting adults living with chronic illness, grief, life changes, and caregiver issues. My practice is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience. I work from a client-centred, trauma-informed, and feedback-informed approach, which means I see you as the expert on your life, and I welcome your input throughout our work together. Our sessions will always be focused on working toward what matters to you.

My approach to therapy is primarily informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - an evidence-based approach that helps people build psychological flexibility, clarify what matters most, and take values-guided action, even when life feels difficult or uncertain.

I believe we can learn from each other and that every individual is the expert in their own life. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and able to connect with your values, goals, and priorities to live a life that is meaningful to you.

I would like to acknowledge that I am gratefully living and working on the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6).
