PET LOSS GRIEF SUPPORT

Losing a beloved animal companion is heart-wrenching. The connection we share with our pets is deep and long lasting - when they're gone, the grief can feel overwhelming. I understand that the journey we go through with our pets can be unexpected, complex, and challenging. I believe that the human-animal bond is deeply meaningful and my goal is to support you through your healing journey while honouring this bond. Your loss is real, and your pain deserves care, attention, and validation.

Whether your grief is fresh or lingering, you don't have to go through it alone. I offer support designed specifically for those navigating the emotional journey of pet loss.

Why pet loss deserves specialized care

Grief from losing a pet is often misunderstood and isn't always acknowledged by those around us. But for those of us who know the love of an animal companion, the pain is real.

I aim to provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where you can:

  • Speak openly about your loss

  • Share memories of your beloved pet

  • Process feelings such as guilt, anger, or emptiness

  • Honour the unique relationship you had with your pet

I am a registered social worker (RSW) with training in pet bereavement and a lifelong love of animals. I bring heartfelt understanding and practical tools to support you through this journey.
